A Visit from USA Track & Field

A Visit from USA Track & Field

We were thrilled to welcome Amanda Brooks to speak to our students on Friday, September 9. Amanda is the Marketing and Communications Manager for USA Track & Field (USATF), where she manages all of their social media; she is also the identical twin sister of Beverly, our Director of College & Career Counseling. Fresh off her time in Rio for the Olympics, where she was USATF’s main press officer, Amanda spoke to our students about her work as a woman in sports, how to parlay a love of sports into a professional career, and the importance of building and representing a brand (namely, themselves). The boys asked great questions and tried on NCAA national championship rings and Olympic medals following her talk.
